No one is exactly sure yet what to expect from the new iPhone 4G when it finally hits the market. The general thought is that there will be some improvements made from the last model. The iPhone 3GS is a great phone, but it's not without it's flaws. So here's a look st some of the potential improvements Apple will make:
- A removable battery - hooray for this one, if it happens. One of the worst things about the old iPhones and iPods, and the iPad for that matter, is that if the battery messes up you've got to send away the whole thing to get the battery fixed. A removable battery would be a welcome change.
- A better camera -the camera on the older iPhone models is okay, but it's not going to help you win a Pulitzer or anything. There is an app you can buy to upgrade which is good. But most other phones cameras put th iPhones to shame. Apple will probably want to change that.
- A front facing camera - so not only could they improve the quality of the camera, but they could put another lens in there as well. This will support iChat video calling and will be good for conference calls as well.
- More memory space - well, it's not like you really need more than 32GB on your iPhone, which is the max the older models go to. But if it's available, why not get it? This will virtually eliminate the need for an iPod, if there was still need for one. Now you can have all you songs on your phone.
All this is just speculation at this point, and I'm sure by this time next week we'll know a lot more about Apples most anticipated product. Hopefully we get to see all of the above, and maybe a little more.
